The New Patient Check-In Process for Dental Offices
Step 1: Ask patients to call you when they arrive and wait in their cars.
Step 2: Call patients to come in the office when it’s their appointment time.
Step 3: Have hand sanitizer available for use.
Step 4: Check their temperature with a thermometer. Remember to disinfect the thermometer between uses.

Step 6: Consider giving pens to patients rather than reusing. If reusing, remember to disinfect them between uses.
Step 7: Use wipes or cleaners to clean touchable surfaces, clipboard, counter, etc. after each appointment.
